Having lived in Japan for a year-and-a-half, I was not at all surprised to read that Japanese tourists are rated #1 internationally for being the most polite tourists in the world. It's kind of buried in the article, but it made me happy (and, strangely, a bit proud) nevertheless.

Road Trip!
We're taking a road trip to the mountains this weekend for a wedding and a little vacation. The Colorado high country is just beautiful this time of year - the flowers, the sky, the lush green everywhere. There will be hiking, family, sun and fun for all. What could be better?
